What I learned in Writing 2 class.

 In the beginning of the semester, I thought I wasn't going to do good in writing papers. I thought the teacher would be no help, but she was a pretty good teacher. She allowed us to have more time to continue with the papers so that we can get a better grade on it. I feel like I didn't have to go to the writing center because I would talk to her personally and she would tell me how to better my paper. I feel now I am more confident to write more papers.

My first thing I learned was Summary and Analysis. I feel Professor Kyburz allowed us to be free and let us get out of the same boring routine we were taught in high school. She wanted us to be more active and being free in our writing. The summary should also be short and to the point. You should not address the author by their first name; use only their last name of the author. It is typed and usually only one paragraph depending on what you are writing about. I have only listed some of the most common factors that need to be included in the summary. The analysis part should address what is the main argument that the author is making and how well do they support their argument. In the paper, you should find the strong points and the weaknesses of the paper and bring it to the light.

Next thing I will talk about is the micro theme. The micro theme was the best paper I wrote especially when I went to professor Kyburz.  It was impossible for me to create a well-written micro theme in one draft because attempting to limit yourself to 500 words is very difficult. I was losing my mind when I was writing the paper.  You should expect to revise your micro theme several times before you submit it. I'm really not joking.

The final thing I learned was the rational argument. In a rational argument, I feel that it makes you think. If you bring the right thoughts to the paper it should be a walk and a breeze. I felt it still kinda hard, but I know what to do when I am given that type of assignment. This was a great learning experience for me.

I felt Professor Kyburz led me in the direct direction when showing us how to write these papers. Some teachers would put all this pressure on you, but I feel professor Kyburz took her time with us and I wanted to thank her for that. No other teacher would do that. She really wanted us to learn something and I think it actually worked.

Work on a Sunday

I thought Sunday was going to be a peaceful Sunday but I realized I had to work and write 30 line paper on my Human Resource paper.

On Saturday I was super busy. I had to write 4 papers and read history paper. I was so overwhelmed.

On Saturday I went to this seafoood restatayntbwoth my mom and uncle and had frog legs. It was ok but I don’t think I would order it again.

Wednesday after class I went to home and payed down. When I woke up I went to the gym and hooped with my cousin.

This weekend I went to a track party and it was pretty fun. A lot of people showed up. I was kinda upset that the party ended early due to something happening. But being there was fun.

Mansion Party Weekend

On Friday night, I did not expect to go to a party. I was ready to go to sleep and suddenly I got a call from my friend asking me to go to a party not knowing it was a Mansion party. When we were close, there was a bridge we had to cross to get to the mansions. The houses were so amazing. When we got to the house and went to the back. The backyard was amazing. They had a pool, basketball court, and a bar. I didn't know they had a river because it was dark. Max and I went on the boat with other people and it was very fun. When we got back we went into the house and the house was huge. When you first go inside the house they had a jacuzzi and a home movie theatre. They even had an elevator which was odd to see in a house. They had a four-story house and we went to the top of the house and it was a great view. We stayed at the house for about 2 hours and can't wait till the next time.      

This weekend was slow and boring. I thought a party was going to happen this weekend but it wasn't. I stayed in my dorm and chilled with my dormate. Saturday I did my homework and did laundry and then had to go to work. It was a very busy day for me. Sunday I slept in and played basketball. After I studies and went to bed.

Today I went to my two classes. They were so boring and they were about the same subject. I took Human Resource Management and Media Marketing. When I came from classes I had to go straight to work for 4 hours. After work, I shot around with my dorm mate and later worked out. today was a very productive day.

For my Memorial Day weekend I did my homework first so that I can have the weekend to myself. Friday day night I went to a party and had a good time. I did not get back to my dorm until two o' clock in the morning. Saturday morning my Mom came to visit me and bought me carpet for my floor and Krispy Kreme donuts. She wanted to spend the whole day with me but I had to go back and study  so I could go out Saturday night. At the end of the day my friend and I ended up staying in out dorm and watched Netflix. I was so upset because people were having fun Saturday night. Monday I went to the library to study almost all day and after did basketball drills. J had a good workout in and fell asleep. When I woke up it was night time and my friend told me about a party. We ended up going but only for a little bit because it was kind of boring. That was my Memorial Day weekend.

This what I did for my Memorial Day Weekend. It was a blast and can't wait to do it again. I didn't have to worry about studying and writing papers. I just relaxed, play basketball, and partied.
